Most novels include multiple settings, and Forgotten Treasure is no different. One of the locations readers will explore is The Art Center, located in a (fictional) abandoned winery in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. The Art Center is an exclusive artist community where paintings are created and restored.
Did you know Arkansas is home to many fine wineries, and that there is actually an Arkansas Wine Trail? In fact, one of the trail members, Movie House Winery, is located in my home town of Morrilton.
Wine and wineries don’t really play an important role in the story of Forgotten Treasure. I just needed a creepy place with tunnels for part of the story. Since wineries are popular in the Ozarks, I settled on creating a fictional abandoned winery to house The Art Center. I hope you enjoy your visit there when the book is finished and published.
